Action
If you discover a fire in your flat, call the Fire Brigade and inform Fire Marshalls if safe to do so.
If your flat is on fire or smoke is entering, leave and make sure you close the door when leaving.
If the fire is not in your flat, Fire Marshalls will alert you with air horns and knock loudly on your door and ask you to leave your flat. Please comply immediately.
To leave the building use the nearest exit following the fire exit signs, closing all windows and doors behind you.
If there is a lot of smoke, crawl along the floor where the air will be clearer.
Report to the assembly point.
- DO NOT take risks.
- DO NOT return to the building until it is safe to do so.
